VISION
Our vision is to fill a void in the auction industry. Spokes, the Managing Member was determined to establish and operate a first Black owned Auction House in KwaZulu Natal that will operate professionally and honestly ensuring the high level of service delivery to its clients. Spokes Auctioneers provides its clients and customers with a personalised and professional service from the time of initial contact and pre- sale, planning to the time of financial settlement. At Spokes Auctioneers w e also further our knowledge and education of the auction industry to assist with maintaining a high level of professionalism in the industry.

Our mission is to become the fastest growing black owned enterprise both nationally and internationally to its clients in the products and services offered.
This we will achieve by extensively building the capacity of our personnel in the management and marketing areas to make sure that we deliver the best at all times.

MR. SPONONO "SPOKES" SHANGE
The management component of the company boasts of capable personnel who have been in the corporate world for more than two decades, Mr. Sponono "Spokes" Shange who is the Business Owner and the Auctioneer of the company who is a highly respected and experienced business man and most definitely has the ability to deliver the best service at all times.
Spokes Shange has been involved in many businesses, i.e. Security Services, Catering Services, Construction, etc before he started the auction business

Mr. Sponono P Shange is a Qualified Auctioneer with a Diploma in Auctioneering

He is a member of the following bodies:

MR. NKOSINATHI ERNEST KHOZA
Mr. Nkosinathi Ernest Khoza, who is a Qualified Appraiser with more than 11 years experience does all the valuations and appraisals for the company.

BUSINESS LOCATION

Our Head Office is situated in the central town of Pietermaritzburg at No. 30 Timber Street, 1st Floor, Pietermaritzburg 3201, our regional office is situated at Cape Town: Ground Floor Liesbeek House, River Park, Gloucester Road, Mow bray 7700 and our Johannesburg Office is situated at: 89 Club Tuscany, Adelaide Road, Modoer Ext 3. Our offices are situated in town because it is easy access for our clients and the premises is situated in a very secure area.

BUSINESS DESCRIPTION
The company is an auctioneering company specializing in the following:
• Vehicle Auction
• House Auction
• Property and Liquidation Auction
• Game Auction
• Furniture Auction
• Equipment Auction
• Property and land evaluations
• And any other goods that may be requested by the client.

The business has grown tremendously since its inception 2007 as we have reached a total turnover of R20,736,218.00 in the past six years of the establishment. The business profile also shows the figures of the turnovers of different auctions conducted previously which proves the expertise and capabilities of the company.

BUSINESS ENVIRONMENT

Spokes Auctioneers is also dedicated to community development and creation of job opportunities especially for the youth, therefore the company had a project whereby we trained the youth to become auctioneers.
This project was run in the cost of the company, i.e. transportation of students, food and other activities. With this project we intended to train 10 students in each province so these students can in turn empower their communities.

In order to ensure continuity and the continued improvement of the level of service provided by Spokes Auctioneers the following strategies will be implemented:-
• An initial strategic conference is held between the proposed seller’s representatives and the services provider in order to establish time lines, communication channels and reporting structures for the duration of the contract.

• The assets are then inspected and evaluated by our well qualified Evaluators and Appraisers to give the estimate value to the proposed seller’s representatives. The head of our Evaluators, Mr. Ernest Khoza is responsible for this function.

• Site meetings are held between proposed seller’s representative and the service providers prior to all auctions.
